Terms and conditions  

  • This Refer-Earn-Repeat Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Nium Pte. Ltd. and its affiliated entities (collectively, “Instarem”). The Terms and Conditions set out herein (“Terms”) govern this Promotion.  
  • Please read the Terms carefully before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to be bound by these Terms and to receive notifications from Instarem regarding the Promotion.  

  

WHAT IS THE PROMOTION  

  

Promotion period  

  • The Promotion will run from Saturday, March 1, 2025; 00:00:00 AEST until Wednesday, April 30, 2025; 23:59:59 AEST (“Qualifying Period”).  

  

Who can be a Participant in this Promotion?  

  • To participate in this Promotion, you must have a registered Instarem Individual account.  
  • This promotion is applicable to ‘referrer(s)’, an individual who has an approved Instarem individual account in Australia, and ‘referee(s),’ the individual who is the subject of the referral and who are residents of any of Instarem’s sending corridors: Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan,Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.  

  

How to participate in the Promotion?  

  • Referrer(s) must log into their Instarem account, share their referral link with their friends, and ask them to sign up using the link. For more information see Steps to Refer Your Friend below.  
  • During the Qualifying Period, a referrer can refer as many as he wishes to, but he will be rewarded for up to 10 successful referrals only.  
  • Eligible referee(s) must make a transaction through the website or mobile app during the promotion period.  

  

Promotion gratification  

For the Referrer:  

  • The Referrer will receive their Instarem bonus once the Referee completes their first transaction. The bonus will be sent to the his/her email ID (registered with Instarem) for every successful referral.
  • The 80 AUD Instarem bonus will be valid for 3 months from the date of receipt.  
  • The minimum transaction value for the referrer to avail the Instarem bonus would be 1000 AUD. 
  • A referrer gets a Instarem bonus for every friend he/she refers during the Qualifying Period, who makes a successful transaction with Instarem, subject to a cap of 10 successful referrals. He/she will be eligible for one Instarem bonus per successful referral. For e.g.: If a referrer refers 5 friends successfully, he/she will be rewarded for 5 referrals. If a referrer refers 15 referees and 12 of them become successful referrals, the referrer will get rewards only for 10 of them. 
  • A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred customer has completed his/her first transaction with Instarem successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the Qualifying Period.  
  • Referrer also gets 200 InstaPoints which they earn from Instarem’s existing referral programme: https://www.instarem.com/referrals-info.  

  

For the Referee:  

  • Referee gets a special discount on his/her first time transaction fees.  
  • Referee must sign up and complete their first transaction during the Qualifying Period.  

  

Steps to Refer a friend  

  1. A referrer must log in and share his/her referral link with friends and family. On web – go to ‘Invite & Earn’ menu. On app – go to profile/My Account.  
  2. Alternatively, copy and paste the personalised referral link from the marketing email sent to the referrer’s Instarem registered email ID and share it with your friends and family. 
  3. Referees sign up with the Referrers’ referral link. 
  4. A referee needs to make their first money transfer with Instarem during the qualifying period  
  5. Once a referee makes a successful transfer, the referrer gets rewarded!  

  

Promotion mechanics  

  • These Terms will apply to all the eligible referrers and referees who are registered and approved customers of Instarem.  
  • A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred client has completed his/her first transaction successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the Qualifying Period.  
  • Only those transactions of referred client(s) that are ‘Paid to Beneficiary’ (Transaction Status: Paid) as on end of Promotion date would be considered for the Promotion. There could be cases where last-minute transfers set up by referred client(s) could face delays due to compliance or other regulatory reasons, or could be subject to delays in regular processing. Please note that such transactions will not be considered.  
  • All bonuses, vouchers, gift cards or other benefits (collectively, “Bonuses”) given are non-negotiable, non-transferable, or non-exchangeable for cash or credit. Bonuses must be used as stated. There shall be no refund or exchange for any partially used or unused Bonuses. Bonuses must be used individually and cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other promotions or vouchers.  

  

Promotion exclusions  

  • In case a Referrer has referred himself (he has created a 2nd account with his own details), it will not be counted in the referral total and such entries will be considered ineligible for the Promotion.  
  • Referee must use the Referrer’s referral code while signing up and may use only one referral code to sign up.  
  • Instarem employees are not eligible to participate in this offer.  
  • This Promotion is not applicable for corporate clients.  
  • Transfers by new referred customers to their referrer’s account would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.  
  • Transfers by newly referred customers of a referrer to a common account(s) would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.  
  • Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in the disqualification of the entry in the Promotion.  

  

Other terms  

  1. Instarem may at its sole and absolute discretion at any time and without prior notice to you: (a) amend or vary the Terms; (b) forfeit, disqualify or refuse to allow any user to participate in the Promotion without having to provide any reasons or justifications; and/or (c) modify, withdraw or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Promotion or any part thereof. Instarem is not obliged to provide any reason, explanation, or clarification to anyone, regardless of their participation in the Promotion.  
  2. Any decision made by Instarem in relation to the Promotion shall be final and conclusive and any request for appeal review shall not be entertained.  
  3. Instarem will not be liable or responsible for any issues with any network, software provider or any technical limitations or breakdown that adversely affect your participation in the Promotion.  
  4. Instarem will not be liable or responsible to you for any claims of loss or damage including loss of business, revenue or profits, or any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Promotion.  
  5. Any collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for this Promotion will be in accordance with Instarem’s privacy policy, a copy of which may be accessed on the Instarem app or https://www.instarem.com/terms-policies/.  
  6. The terms and conditions relating to the use of the Instarem account, InstaPoints and other features continue to apply and are incorporated by reference herein, a copy of which may be accessed on the Instarem app or https://www.instarem.com/terms-policies/  
  7. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between these Terms and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Terms shall prevail.  
  8. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and all participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.  
  9. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with any social media platform.
